Rangers Lose Another Shootout

New coach, same result. Torts was obviously feeling his way tonight and uncharacteristically rolled four lines instead of just three. The Good: Wade Redden had his best game as a Ranger and scored his first goal since game 3. The Bad: Gomez and Drury were still awful. Obviously, there's a lot to shake out here, and the young players like Girardi, Callahan, Staal and Dubinsky all had their moments and seemed to take to whatever's being installed. Hopefully, soon, we'll be rolling three lines and maybe getting something out of Gomez and Drury.

there was some good up-tempo play tonight. Bottom line is we need a finisher. I think with the right talent this team will be just fine under Torts. I would have Don Waddell on speed-dial if I was Slats...
