Girardi Sets His Rotation
So, apparently Joe Girardi has set his rotation for the season, and it looks like this:
1)Sabathia
2)Wang
3)Burnett
4)Pettitte
5)Chamberlain
And that rotation, my friends, is going to match-up with anyone's. The interesting decision here, and one that I favor, is putting Wang between Sabathia and Burnett. Wang's efficient power sinker creates a huge variation when dropped between CC's and AJ's swing and miss stuff. Then we get the same thing at the 4th with Andy's increasingly crafty stuff between AJ's and Joba's power repertoires. Pitching Joba 5th also goes a long way to limiting his innings. Then when you start matching up our 1 against their 1, our 2 against their 2, etc. it's just gonna be spectacular. The first ST game starts in about two and a half hours and there seems to be no radio or TV available for it. Tomorrow's game is on YES. Go Yanks!

If this staff stays healthy, this will be the funnest year since '96. Imagine being an opposing batter having to face any four of those pitchers coming from both sides of the plate, with heat and movement. This should be fun.
