On The Block
Unsurprisingly, stories are starting to come out saying the Yanks would rather trade Nady than Swisher. That makes sense. Swisher is younger, better and under contract for a few more years. Nady will be a free agent after the 2009 season. While the Yanks are more willing to trade Nady, they should really only do so for a good piece (CF, C, SP) because keeping Nady and his tick or two above average abilities would not be a hardship. Still, I expect Nady and perhaps some other pieces to be traded somewhere where he can start. I don't know what the time frame on a Nady trade is, but I doubt we see him at camp.
