Tex To Be Introduced on Tuesday

Mark Teixeira will officially be introduced as a Yankee at the old Stadium at 1pm Tuesday and should kick off an interesting last six weeks of the Hot Stove for the Yanks. The Yanks are still waiting for Andy Pettitte to yay or nay them, and could sign someone else of make a trade for a pitcher if Andy says no and they aren't comfortable with their homegrown options. What's more, trades involving Nady, Matsui or even Swisher could still take place. If Matsui and another are traded, the Yanks might end up back in the January Hitters market. Should be fun. Go Yanks!

I think we have to move one or more of the OF. Supposedly SF has interest in Nady

I thought the Giants GM (Brian Sabean) stated he was not interested in a player in his Free Agent walk year.

I like Rowand and I think he would be a good fit for CF. He is one of those "Grinder" types from our dynasty era.

Sanchez wouldn't be bad either.

I don't like Rowand. Grinders take walks and he doesn't do that enough. He's been a below average hitter in 3 of the last 4 years.
