Melky Signs

Melky, who has not been traded for Mike Cameron came to terms on a one year 1.4M deal with the Yanks today. The Yanks were offering 1.1 and Cabrera was looking for 1.7M when they swapped arbitration figures so they met in the middle. Melky had an awful year last year, but if he gets back to taking his walks, like he did as a rookie and incorporates his legs in his swing when he does swing, there's still a shot he could give us a league average bat in CF. That would be awesome. Go Yanks.
