Sheridan It Is

The Giants have just announced that LB coach Bill Sheridan is indeed their new DC. Tom Coughlin interviewed both Sheridan, he bears a somewhat disturbing resemblance to Joe Theisman, and Peter Giunta, the DB coach who had been the Rams DC back when they won the Superbowl. He asked both how they would improve the D, and both gave good answers. He said his gut told him Sheridan, so let's hope his gut was right. I think it's strong move as they can just keep growing the D they have instead of starting over or changing too much with an outside coordinator.
