The Coolest Show on TV

Mad Men on AMC is the deal. It's a really cool drama set very close to the reality that was the New York Ad Game in the 1960's. The attention to detail is terrific and the characters are distinctly drawn - hence the setting doesn't become the star of the show. It's full of interesting characters, manners and cocktails. The tensions between three generations, all still rather young, but defined by WWII, Korea and no war, respectively, is rich and they are getting the most out of it. It will remind us to a degree of where we've come from and just how far. Check it out.
