Phil Done

Phil Hughes looked like his regular self through the first two innings today, then managed to give up 5 runs including a two run homer before being lifted with two outs in the 5th. He left a man on second for Mike Myers. Phil, and this could be a problem all year cause of his long layoff, does not have his full armstrength yet, and may never have his best fastball back till next year. It takes time to build up armstrength and between focusing on the change and sitting out so long, he just doesn't have what he had last year. He threw a ton of fastballs today, and that may be in the hope of building up his arm. Myers just gave up a double, so that means Phil is charged with 6 runs. Terrible outing. He'll get better. Go Yanks.
