My Greatest 100 (or so) Albums...


Abbey Road, Let It Be (Apple 1969, 1970) I don't need to tell you anything about these two. My big sister and I used to wear them OUT. I don't think we had any idea of how good they were in the big picture, we just knew how much we liked them. There was a lot of drama during the production of Let it Be which was actually recorded before Abbey Road, but released after it. People like Allen Klein, Yoko Ono and Phil Spector were involve at this point. It ended here, and pop music was never the same.

I remember watching a show on TV on Ch.9 in NYC about whether or not Paul was dead, and as part of the evidence supporting the contention that he was, they cited the fact that he is barefoot on the cover of Abbey Road.

that was a funny rumor when we were kids. The idea was that he had been replace by a robot or something that had his same talents...
