Top Ten Power Arms Update - November

Okay, since the Sheff trade and Joba's utter dominance in HBL I've shuffled the list.

1. Philip Hughes: The complete package
2. Humberto Sanchez: Great stuff and close!
3. Joba Chamberlain: Can't argue with 42/3 and 97mph.
4. Dellin Betances: So far away but ace-stuff
5. Christian Garcia: Left HBL early, but great stuff
6. Jeff Marquez: Power sinker!
7. Zach McAllister: Hughes comps to come
8. Angel Reyes: Power Lefty.
9. Steven White: Close and correctable
10. Dixon Marquez: Mid 90's teen.

We're gonna be in good shape soon.

No listing for Tyler Clippard, Ian Kennedy and Erik Abreu, but I'm excited about them, too.

That is some ridiculous talent and the 42/3 is crazy!

Maybe September if he blows through high A and AA. There are rumors that he will start at AA, in which case the odds of seeing him in September go up.

Clippard's not a power arm. I did a list of power arms.

Still think Tyler will get moved?

I'd say it's 50/50. If we win the bidding on Kei or add a free agent, I'd say no. I'm inclined to just add free agents. I'd rather wait a while on our young pitchers than forfeit any of them for someone else's.
