Rangers Win 4-2!

Tough game where the refs did them no favors. Goals by Aaron Ward, Brendan Shanahan, Jason Ward (shorthanded) and Martin Straka. Lundqvist, recapturing his true form, played well enough to shut out the Devils, unfortunately his D did not. There were still a number of disconcerting lapses in the defensive end. The Rangers cannot let Gomez or anyone else just goal hang. Hit him. Meanwhile, the refs seemed to have it in for the Rangers, making a number of borderline to asinine calls against the Blueshirts. What didn't seem to bother the refs was the illegal neutral zone traps the Devils kept playing. Oh well, the good guys won to raise their record to 3-3. They play Nashville on Wednesday at 7pm. We'll look at it then.
