Giants Release DeAndre Baker

In what can only be seen as a tragedy, the Giants today cut bait on a former first round pick. This is just sad. Baker had it all in front of him. He was basically a slightly more talented version of Bradberry as a football player.  He would have been a perfect fit in the new D. Unfortunately, he is an imbecile who threw it all away playing gangster one night. There's no one to blame here but Baker. Georgia's a great program and there was nothing in his past that indicated a future as an armed robber.  Last year, the Giants had 3 first round picks, between Jones and Dexter Lawrence, it looks like they found two core player - and one future crook.  The Giants will now be forced to draft Patrick Surtain II or some other top college corner in 2021.
