Rangers Get Pick 22
With the Islander win tonight, the Rangers second first round pick moved up one slot to 22. Last time they had pick 22, they traded up for it and took K'Andre Miller. As expressed yesterday, the Rangers need to add more picks in this deep, deep draft. The flat cap makes another Panarin move impossible, which is fine because there is no Panarin out there this year. While Free Agency is a down market, the draft is a great market and the Rangers should use what they have to amass more picks. All they need for the NHL club is a #2 C and a Left Handed D to paiir with Trouba. If they amass picks they can not only make them and stash players, but they can also trade them for RFA's, and the RFA market is better than the UFA market- again. Let's hope that's their plan, but, as of right now we finally know where all of their 10 picks are.
