Kravstov Loaned to the KHL

The Rangers are loaning Vitali Kravstov to the KHL where he will play for his draft year coach again.    This is fine, since the Rangers have the right to recall him whenever the NHL starts back up. This feels proactive, he's not going to get his head right by sititng around and a lot of NHL teams are sending their young Euros back over to keep them playing,

Kravstov needs some success. He looked amazing in prospect camp and in Traverse City last year, then something happened, and instead of making the Rangers he bounced around from the AHL to Russia, then back to the AHL. I don't think the Wolfpack did Kravstov any favors by dropping him down to the 3rd or 4th line.  It's organizationally stupid to put high skill prospects behind career AHL guys. When someone like Karavstov, or, god forbid, Lafreniere, goes down, he has to play on the first line and in all situations.  His ice time has to be maximized, not limited. By the way, tough love isn't love, and rarelry succeeds without pushback.

So let's hope Kravstov can get his mojo back, then come and replace Buch.
