In the wake of their 0-2 trip to through Florida, the Rangers this morning have waived penalty machine Michael Haley. This is good news, even if they don't replace him right away - though they probably will. Haley kept taking penalties - often first period penalties - and putting the Rangers behind the 8 ball. Nice to see consequences. They'll probably call up Vinny Lettieri or Stevan Fogarty. Let's hope Kaapo Kakko at the very least, is back Wednesday.
UPDATE: Lias Andersson has been sent down to Hartford, presumably to get his game together. Tim Gettinger is coming up. They still have anotehr move to make, and I'd assume it's going to be Fogarty or Boo.
