I’m the opposite of a conspiracy theorist, except with the f’ing NBA.
There are a lot of them, Rich. No such thing as a coincidence and most bad things take a minimum of 2 which is the definition of a conspiracy.
Some mock drafts have Barrett going 2. I am skeptical.
Barrett's not a bad player. And he's a a lefty and we can either pick him or trade the pick to the Pelicans because he has great chemistry with Zion.
The Pelicans will want Robinson too.
That's a non starter.
Fran Frischilla likes Darius Garland.
But would take Barrett as of now. Has to improve outside shot and be less lefty dominant.

Obviously, I don’t know what will happen, but these kids are so young that Barrett, being the number one overall recruit last year, may develop into a truly great player.
I believe he can, and the shot will come. Lots of guys who could dunk on folks took time to develop their shot, like MJ and Dr.J..
