In 30, Yanks take DES CF Jake Mangum

In the 30th the Yanke took switch hitting DES CF Jake Mangum from Mississippi St.  He had a better Freshman year than Sophmore year, but was old for both.  He was a good performer in the Cape, and the Yanks still put a lot of interest in the wood bat leagues.   Fast guy, who has a cannon of an arm, and apparently played through a broken hand this year.  Basically, through the first twenty rounds today, the themes have been righty relievers, intriguing preps and guys who'll be really tough to sign, if not impossible to sign.  They may showing an awareness of how jammed up the system currently is.
