In 29, Yanks Select Tristan Beck

This may be our most interesting pick.  Tristan Beck is a top fifty player, and yet he did miss the Spring with a stress fracture in his back.  He was probably the highest rated player left in the draft, and is a DES, which means he's an old Sophomore and will be an old Junior if he stays in college, and an old Senior if he stays again. DES guys think they have leverage, but because they are old and less accomplished than their junior peers, they shouldn't.  Beck does, but just because he's the real thing. I don't currently see any way that this gets done, but perhaps he's a Yankee fan, or would rather rehab with Kap and Schmidt.
