Rangers Buy Out Dan Girardi

The Rangers have parted ways with Dan Girardi. This is tough, because we now look back and what he was and all he meant to the success of these past several years.  Like David Diehl of the Giants, he was a winning player that fans came to resent because he had diminished himself by playing too hard for the team we love.  Girardi blocked shots like Dikembe Mutombo on a meth bender.   He gave it up and gave it up and gave it up until he couldn't give it anymore, and resented for it. We'll be lucky to ever get another guy who will give everything he has and more to the Rangers.  God bless him going forward.
