Jacob Lindgren Promoted to the Sally

The Yanks, who, like the Rangers had no first round pick this year,  assigned the first pick that they did make, LHP Jacob Lindgren to their Charleston Riverdogs affiliate in the low A Sally League.   This should be fun and he could end up moving quickly, once he starts getting regular work.  He pitched a scoreless inning this morning down in the GCL, so he probably won't pitch again till Monday or Tuesday.  But he was drafted to fill that left handed reliever ace roll we've needed filled since Sparky (or Howe).    Nice to see them being aggressive.

It would be even nicer if they got more aggressive with the trio a AAA hitters who are ready for MLB pitching and to help the big club.
