Rangers Take F Keegan Iverson at 85

Fighter with scoring.  Played in the WHL, which is tough.   6' 2" and 217.    We'll learn more about this one, too.  And we'll have time, since the Rangers also traded their 3rd round pick #89 to the caps for 104 and 118.  So they now have 3 4th rounders, including 118 and 119 which are back to back.

A little more on Keegan.   He played for the Winterhawks, in the WHL, which is a high profile team, and he started doing so as a 16 year old American.  That's unusual.  Most Americans are 18 or 19 when they hit the WHL.   And he wears #13 in honor of his friend Jack Jablonski, another prospect who's stuck in a wheel chair these days.  He says he plays to fulfill Jack's goals and his own goals.   I think he'll be one of our favorite kids.
