Keeping Hakeem?

Word has come down that Hakeem Nicks might be willing to play on a one year deal this year.   The Giants should offer him one.   Before his injuries of the last two years, Hakeem was one of the best wr's in football.  Hell, he singlehandedly eliminated Green Bay on our way to our last SB win.  Interestingly, he had been drafted as part of the strategy to replace Plaxico Burress, who had also eliminated the Packers en route to Super Bowl 42.    Needless to say, he was core, and if he rebounds he will be core and worth keeping.  He's still pretty young, after the Giants drafted him as a true junior.   And I like him a lot more than any receiver not named Sammy Watkins in the upcoming draft.  So let's take some pressure off that #12 pick and bring back 88.
