Giants: Rodgers Cromartie On The Way for a Visit

Well travelled but somewhat elite cover corner Dominique Rodgers Cromartie will visit with the Giants tomorrow and discuss joining them.  He was unable to make a deal with the Jets today.   DFC was most recently been on the Broncos, who may or may not have offered him a big deal in the past few weeks.   So, how can the Giants fit a guy in who might require a big deal?   They've kept their powder dry for the most part, so they still have room this year.  What's more, they have room coming up, so adding a big salary would only be a matter of structure, and they've had no problem doing that under Kevin Abrams.    So this is a pretty interesting situation, as it would give us a really solid pair of corners against the pass.   The Giants are already happy happy with Rolle, Hill and Brown at safety with Cooper Taylor also looking promising.    It would also shorten the demands that our talent strapped roster are placing on the draft.   This is a pretty interesting development.

Not sure. Felt sort of like year 2000 where we got all those role players, thus far.
