Rangers Win!

Carl Hagelin sure picked the right night for his first career Hat Trick.  Wow!   After giving the Rangers the two goal lead in the third, he also saved a goal the other way by blocking a shot.  Just a huge game from the home grown kid.   Chris Kreider had the other goal, back with Stepan who had yet another assist and has been on a point a game pace for the last 12 or so.   Things started out well, when Hagelin tipped in a Pouliot deflection to give the Rangers a 1-0 lead fast.  But just as quickly the Jet scored two of their own and the Rangers were reeling again.   Thank goodness Kreider tied it up, and then Hags scored two more times.   St. Louis seems to have assisted on one of Hags goals, but he still hasn't scored one of his own.  And Rick Nash seems to be taking the week off, as the rest of his line keeps churning.   McD almost had another one of those long empty netters as time was running out, but it hit the post.     HUGE WIN.
