Rangers Interested in Chris Stewart?

So, the buzz this am is that the Rangers are interested in the Blues' Chris Stewart.  As you know Chris is a youngish (26) power forward who sometimes scores and sometimes fights.   He's had periods of offensive clarity where he's scored almost a point a game for extended periods and had 36 points in last year's truncated season.    The question is what kind of deal would this be?   Are we trying to acquire him or are we being offered him for Callahan or Girardi?   Two separate issues.  I like the player fine, but unless there's also a prospect and a 1 coming back, I do not like the player for Callahan or Girardi.   But if they're looking to just pick him up as their annual Jody Shelley fighting guy, maybe, just don't use picks.
