Giants: Randle Can't Replace Nicks

If the Giants are counting on Rueben Randle to replace what Hakeem Nicks used to give them in the upcoming season, that is some leap of faith.   As a rookie,  Hakeem was better than Randle was.  As a second year player Hakeem was much better than Randle was.   So how can anyone be projecting Randle, who was not on the same page as Eli this year, as being capable of replacing Hakeem Nicks.   He's never shown any sign of Nicks peak speed, hands or YAC ability.   So, if the Giants want to replace Nicks, they're going to have to find what will be a very expensive FA, or use their #1 pick on a WR, because Randle is not it.   He was drafted to replace Manningham, not Nicks.   I still hope they can figure out something with Hakeem, since his cost must be down, but the cost of replacing him will be huge.
