Fewell Should Go, Too

There was no talk about Perry Fewell today, and that surprised me.   The Giants haven't had a good pass rush since their last Super Bowl win, and, coincidentally, haven't been back to the playoffs, either.  Both last year, and this year, the Giants couldn't stop anyone against good teams.  I'm not talking about the last several teams we faced, other than the Seahawks who are good and shut us out at home.   The defense did look better against all of those back up QB's, but it didn't look the least bit competent until Coach Fewell went to the players and they urged him to simplify the D.  Don't you think the Giants should have a DC who can scheme a pass rush, adjust to the talent on hand, and not have to ask the players to do his scheming for him?  I do.  We've had great D's under Landry, Parcells, Belichick, Fox and Spags.   We need a DC like that, who both inspires the players and comes up with schemes they can win with.   Fewell's not that guy.
