Breaking: Rangers Put Biron and Asham on Waivers

So the Rangers have opted for some roster moves.   Waiving Biron and Asham probably does nothing more than open up cap room room for call ups like Miller and Talbot.    We'll see, perhaps someone will claim them.   That would be best.  A number of us wanted to cut bait on Biron for awhile.   He's a great guy, but a sieve.   Let's see what else they do.

I am not surprised with Asham going on waivers. I like him as a tough guy, but I wonder if he really has a role in the AV style of hockey the Rangers will (eventually) play.

Biron surprises me. However, he has not looked good in his 2 appearances so far - in fact he has looked downright horrible. He has contributed in the past, but maybe it's time to say good-bye. Bringing in Hedberg during camp was a sign that management is not overjoyed with him.
