Yanks Take Rubber Game

Andruw Jones was 3 for 3 with 2 2-run bombs today as the Yanks easily beat the Jays behind Freddie Garcia. Garcia got his third win, and other than some of the slumping starters, Joe Girardi should get some credit for using his bench. It was easier when Chavez was healthy. Cash should get credit for Garcia and Jones, as they won the game for us today and they didn't arrive till late in the offseason. Tex also homered and he is heating up. Jeter was 1-3 with 2 walks. He should be walking a lot more as the leadoff guy, and also as an old player. Our outfield D is also excellent when we have Gardner, Grandy and Dickerson out there. Though Grandy does occasionally have trouble judging balls in front of him. Still, it beats the era between titles. Go Yanks!
