Giants Catch a Falling Star
The Giants stayed at 19 and caught a falling star in Prince Amukamara, the corner for Nebraska. Prince was being projected all over the place as a top 10 pick and apparently only started falling today. Ingram, Baldwin and Wilkerson were still on the board. This is the second time since 2007 we have spent a one on a CB and the the third time since 2005 that our first pick has been a CB. It seems he fell on some sloppy technique, that can be cleaned up. He is a physical player, though not an elite playmaker. I had no idea he'd be available, but he gives the Giants another great athlete for their constantly rebuilding Defense, and maybe he can hit some Eagles for us. An interesting start to the draft. Go Giants!
