Yanks Win in Extras!
After Mo Rivera managed to blow a save and a lead in the top of the ninth by giving up FOUR stolen bases, the Yanks tied it up on a base hit by Cano to send the game into extras. Joba and Logan pitched a clean tenth. The Yanks managed to load the bases with no outs, before Thames hit into fielders choice that erased Granderson at home. Fortunately, Juan Miranda worked a walk to "drive in" Gardner and the game was won. Way to grind. Go Yanks!

This team plays much more comfortably down in the ninth than they do innings one through eight it seems. They're way too tightly wound as of late, and I blame that on Girardi.
Also, is there any coach that has earned his pay more than Kevin Long? His work with Granderson is paying dividends.
Unless Mo has been nursing a nagging injury, you can't let him go a week without pitching, no matter what.
Hughes was great.
A-Rod is the clutchest player of all time.
Hughes is maturing at a very opportune time. A-Rod's hip seems to finally have stopped barking.
I still think we'll win #28.
AJ sucks. AJ sucks. And oh yeah, AJ sucks.
