Amar'e On the Way?
There's been an undercurrent of sentiment that Amar'e is in the bag. The Knicks spoke to him last night, then met with him briefly before flying from LA to Ohio. He's supposed to visit the Knicks on Sundays, but rumors are starting to fly that they are crunching the numbers now and he will be the Knicks new PF. Amar'e is one of the few athletes to make a full recovery from microfracture surgery and was at his best under Coach D'Antoni. Clearly if this is getting done, it wouldn't be without LeBron's blessing. So, go Knicks!

Amare was meant to be a Knick and would have been if they had a smart GM in 2002.
LeBron was too. I hope he sees that.
I think it's all working out.
Signing Amare to a max deal makes me nervous with the knee issue.
Reminds me of Larry Johnson who we got after his knees were worked on. He helped us win some games, but was never the player we thought we were getting upon acquiring him.
There has to be a bigger piece to the puzzle than Amare for this off season to be a success for the Knicks.
The bigger piece is LeBron. Bosh will go to Miami with Wade and LeBron and Amar'e will come to the Knicks.
LJ didn't have microfracture surgery to the best of my knnowledge, and he had back problems. He had lost his ability to jump before he became a Knick.
Amare has gotten his quickness and explosive jumping ability back.
If you are worried about injuries, Bosh and Wade are hurt quite often.
Could we be the team that made the offer??
