Knicks LeBron Meeting Ends

The Knicks have completed their scheduled meeting with LeBron James. It lasted over two and a half hours and they were cautiously optimistic after the meeting. Walsh says he expects another meeting. To me, this is all part of LBJ's Cleveland Exit Strategy. I still fully expect him to be a Knick as I have for the last two years. Go Knicks!

I could be wrong, but my guess is that they have to get commitments from Amare and/or JJ before LeBron commits to them. Maybe it will be simultaneous?

I still believe what I was told two years ago. He'll be a Knick. What we're seeing now is exit strategy.

Not that he necessarily knows, but CC told Kay yesterday that LeBron wants to be on a team that can win, and if he can play with Amare or Bosh, he would have a better chance to win than his current situation in Cleveland.

Bloomberg:

The Knicks’ sales pitch included how James could become a billionaire -- one of his stated goals -- more easily in New York than by playing in cities such as Miami, Chicago or Cleveland. The team commissioned a study from marketing consultant Interbrand that showed that James could earn as much as $2 billion playing in New York, according to Forbes.com.
