Yanks Lose

Sergio Mitre couldn't hold onto two different leads and the Yanks lost 5-4. I'm sorry. I don't like to play the blame game, but I think they might need to put Aceves, who pitched 4 scoreless innings in relief, in the rotation and end the Mitre experiment. Gotta start a new streak tomorrow behind Joba. Go Yanks!

I heard Cash on Michael Kay last week and he defended Mitre, I cannot figure out why. I strongly disagree with his assesment that he has pitched average, it has been far below. I wonder what Gaudin will bring? He also said there is a plan for Joba that he would start the rest of the way...

What other options do you think we could explore Phil, as Mitre needs to be removed. Smoltz perhaps?(whom Cash thinks is not done)

I'd use Aceves for the #5 starter.
