Yanks add Gaudin
The Yanks picked up RHP Chad Gaudin from the Padres today for a PTBNL. Gaudin has a 5 era in a pitchers park in the NL, but also has been getting a k per ip. Maybe he'll be better than Mitre. It's worth a shot as he's still only 26 years old and could have a future. Go Yanks!

Cano, Robertson, Melancon and Bruney have been put on waivers.
Interesting...Let's see if someone worthwhile gets put on waivers as well and a deal can happen.
Robertson/Melancon for Garland?
Garland is no good, and I don't think the Yanks would trade Robertson or Melanco for anyone who wasn't really good.
