Hakeem The Dream?
If the Giants keep the #29 pick and take a WR, the hope here is that UNC's Hakeem Nicks is the man. Nicks is receiver with good size, great hands and great feet. Like Arizona's Anquan Boldin he plays faster than he times and he can catch ANYTHING. Seriously, he has some of the best hands and body control I've seen. The knock on him is deep speed, but the truth is he makes plenty of plays down the field and after contact. I think staying put and picking Hakeem Nicks is a far better idea than trading up for Darius Heyword-Bey. DHB is plenty fast, but the Giants have missed on pretty much every fast receiver they have taken since Homer Jones. DHB has hands questions and plays more straight liney than he tests. I guess we'll see. Go Giants!

Speaking of Anquan Arizona lowered their asking price..
I know.
We won't trade any pick higher than our first second for either wr.
I think that is a smart move not to. If we do acquire either one of the WR Phil, do you still see us taking one high in the draft? Or perhaps in the later picks?
If we complete a trade for either before the draft, I think we wouldn't use #29 on a WR but might still take Ramses Barden or Johnny Knox later in the draft.
That makes sense. As you mentioned earlier I hope we are able to get one of the 3 lineman you mentioned at some point.
For what it's worth Francesa said earlier from what he heard he likes the Giants chances to upgrade WR before the draft begins..
