Mullin Finally To The Knicks?

There are a lot of stories today that Chris Mullin may finally be headed to the Knicks as the new GM. The Knicks had a chance to get Chris Mullin and team him with Pat Ewing back in the `80's but Knicks GM Scottie Stirling wouldn't part with Louis Orr. Think about that. That's why Patrick never got a ring or rings. Anyway, as a basketball move now, I dunno. He hasn't set the world of fire, but he would have been a great D'Antoni player and the two of them should probably see hoops in compatible ways, and hopefully Walsh can put him through executive finishing school. Meanwhile, the Knicks need a great PG to make the D'Antoni offense go next year and in the future and there will be several available in the draft.

Solid move if it comes to pass, and it appears Grunwald will be kept on in another rule.

Louis Orr?? Wow there's a name from the past. I had always hoped that Bernard King would have been able to play w Patrick, but he never recovered from his knee injury
