Wither Plax

Plax has a big court date at the end of the month. In the meantime, the Giants have too many draft picks, and no certain #1 receiver. If Plax ends up going to jail, the price the Giants will have to pay to get a #1 receiver will go even higher than it already is. That's why, I believe it's likely that the Giants will trade for a receiver before Plax's trial. If Plax gets sentenced, the Giants are covered. If Plax gets off, he has a low cap # next season and we go for it with two big time receivers. I don't see the Giants waiting on Plax's trial. Not with the way they just scotchguarded their D.

Phil, your logic is sound. We have the firepower to deal for a #1 wideout and we should do it before its clear to be a Giant need, hence a higher priced market. I would love to get a difference maker at wideout and then also get a humbled and reformed Plax back. Eli would have fun. I love Smith/Hixon/Moss and I think they all will contribute. Go Giants.

The three targets would seem to be Edwards, Boldin, or Holt.

Which is more likely?
