And Now It's Onto the NHL Deadline

A little scary that this guy is still in charge of the Rangers. Though it seems likely that they will try to claim Sean Avery on re-entry waivers tomorrow, it's unclear if the Rangers will have sufficient cap room to add much of value at the deadline. Now if they could clear a big contract, that would be sensational, but, far as I can tell, the best we can hope for of the somewhat unwanteds going somewhere is Blair Betts. After months of hearing all sorts of trade rumors about Gaborik and others, it will be interesting to see if the Rangers will do anything at all.
