Rocky in Limbo

While the Michael Boley deal should be announced shortly, Rocky Bernard is still over at the complex waiting to see if the Giants will sign him. With Chris Canty coming in later, do the Giants risk losing Rocky by not signing him now, or do the Giants tell Rocky it is their intention to sign them both and try to get Rocky at a friendly price? Someone I talked with yesterday was not ruling out the Giants signing both Bernard and Canty, so this one is still developing. Obviously, Canty is the way to go if it has to be just one, but Rocky would be fine as a fallback position.
