Castle's Fun

The best formula in TV these days is dropping a quirky character, often from another profession (Bones, The Mentalist), or one who's been through a unique experience (Life, Life on Mars) and dropping them into criminal investigations. Castle is yet another fun show, with a fine cast that brings a quirky crime novelist in on a series of homicide investigations. Okay, it'll never happen, unless you cound James Ellroy cold casing it with some cops, but dammit, the cast is good and it's a fun show. Enjoy it, Monday nights at 10 on ABC.
