Austin Jackson continued his red hot spring with a grandslam against the Red Sox tonight. He's been flashing all five tools this spring and the light might be on for good. Ramiro Pena also looked good again beating out a bunt and showing some valuable speed. Eduardo Nunez, the other boy wonder of Spring didn't play tonight. That might not have been fair;)



UPDATE: and as a reward for hitting a grandslam, Austin was sent down to the minor league camp after the game. Joe Girardi did not rule out Austin making it to the bigs at some point this year, but Austin said he still had a lot to work on. When I wrote up Austin several weeks ago, I don't think I included the fact that he has incredible make-up. He does.
