Prucha!

Petr Prucha was finally active and scored his first goal since last January and it was huge. Typically, the Rangers had fallen behind 2-0 on some really lackadaisical play. Fortunately, Hank was able to hold the Penguins there, while Zherdev scored on a re-direct, and Prucha buried a rebound. Scottie Gomez, who is now centering the Naslund/Zherdeve combo had assists on both goals. Overtime was scoreless and the Rangers went 3-3 to win another shootout. Aside from the Prucha goal, the highlight of the game came when Marc Staal absolutely lit up Crosby late in the third as Crosby tried to carry the puck into the Rangers' zone. The Garden was a-rockin', but the Rangers can't keep giving a point to teams they need to beat. Go Rangers.
