2 points

Nik Zherdev scored the first goal of the night, then the final goal of the shootout. It was a strang game for the Rangers who got two quick goals to start the first, from Zherdev and Fritsche, but didn't score again till Voros wristed one in in the 3rd. In the meantime, they alternated between looking like they were about to explode and looking like they had fizzled. For the second time in two game, the Rangers gave up a late goal to send the game into overtime. The power play was also ineffective as the defensement held and passed the puck instead of shooting it. The Rangers have 36 points but they still must find away to give more consistent effort and score more goals. Go Rangers.
