Gonzo?

Over the past few days there have been plenty or rumor about Tony Gonzalez being on the trading block and wanting to come to the Giants. Far as I can tell, the rumors are true, but a deal is unlikely. Chief GM Carl Peterson characterized talks between the two teams as "unproductive." Though that doesn't really mean anything, I don't see Jerry Reese blinking and capitulating. He's not Hank Steinbrenner. Would Gonzalez improve the team? No question about it, but not at the price of one of our twos or our three. The deadline is Tuesday, and things will be clear one way or another by then. Go Giants.
