Yanks Take a Day Off

The Yanks wasted another great start from Darrel Rasner today (6ip 1R) and stood idly by after Hawkins and Veras gave up 5 runs in the bottom of the 7th. Veras had been looking lately, but came in with two outs and gave a single, and a three run jack to make it 6-0 after 7. Rasner deserved better support from the other 24 men on the roster.

Down on the farm, JB Cox pitched another 1.1 of perfect relief. He could be coming soon for Hawkins or Veras's spot.
