The Biggest Night in Recent Knick History

This is the night that the Knicks find out if they will be in a position to draft team-first point guard Derrick Rose, or whether they will really have to slog it out until cap room can be cleared, perhaps by 2010. The odds are against the Knicks moving up tonight, and though Rose is the clear prize, it's possible that the Knicks could still get a player who turns out to be great, or they could end up just trading the pick with Randolph or one of their other big contracts to start creating cap room for 2010. But, if the Knicks do end up with the first pick, they will become instantly relevant, and that would be a tremendous relief for all of their fans, and the NBA as well. Good luck, Knicks!
