Rangers win a Tough One

The Rangers just beat the Flyers 2-0 in Philly in front of Vally who has now shut them out twice in a row. The game was very phyical, but the Rangers were n0t intimidated. Dawes and Gomez scored the two goals as part of the second PP unit. This is a weird team. Sometimes they seem so flat, then other times they seem so tough. If they can get any consistency going, I think there might be a post-season run in them. Of course they have to get to the post-season first, and that's no sure thing with their up and down play. Go Rangers.

Solid win, we need to string a few in a row together.

Campbell is now the latest target on the trade front. For the right price and if we can lock him up I like this option better then Boyle.

Any trade at all has to be a smart one, and we really, really need to see the same toughness every night - like we did from the Giants down the stretch.

I agree with both points Phil. We cannot trade any of the core youth for a stop gap veteran. If we trade youth, I want youth IE Campbell in return. We have to be more consistent every night, we can't win one and lose 3. I think Straka is done and should be moved. It will be interesting to see if we are buyers or sellers come Feb 26.
