Phil Hughes is SAFE! Johan Santana has been traded to the Mets for a surprisingly reasonable package of players and there is no more danger of Hank Steinbrenner losing his mind and trading Phil and others. It's a great day for the Mets and it's also a great day for the Yanks!

Mets got the better end of this deal, just by waiting Minnesota out.
Like father like dumb as you posted some months ago did not have a chance to prove his dumbness LOL
it worked out well for all concerned. The Yanks should be great from the major league team all the way down to the DSL this year.
I agree with you Phil, Cash and Co have done a wonderful job rebuilding from the ground up.
Speaking of will Cash now talk extension?
I'm sure something could be announced some time around spring training.
