NFL FREE AGENCY

NFL Free Agency begins in two and a half hours, and it looks like the Giants could lose all 4 of their "major" free agents when the signing period begins. It's been unusually difficult to find out who the Giants are targetting this year, but, in Reese we trust and we look forward to his next moves. Go Giants!

Unless Shockey gives us a 1st rounder plus no reason to deal him

26 million SB is nuts

i would deal shockey for a 2nd or 3rd rounder plus a good player or just a first rounded and 26 million SB is retarted

I heard we're gonna be very busy in the next 24/48hrs. But who knows what that means? Evety team is gonna be very busy in the next 24/48 hours. The Giants are a more popular destination all of a sudden...

Gibril to Oakland for 6.5??? I am glad we did not keep him for that price.

In Reese we trust, and I cannot wait to see what he has in store.

At 10:19 PM, Blogger Kalel9 said...

Looks like Gibril is gonna be a Raider.

At 10:21 PM, Blogger Michael said...

Phil have u heard anything as to what we may be doing?? The money we saved on Gibril can go to re-upping Snee.

If we got Hall I could see us moving Webster or Ross to Safety.

At 10:35 PM, Blogger Kalel9 said...

Nope, I haven't heard anything about a position switch and it sounds like Erik Coleman of the Jets will be the replacement for Gibril.

supposedly we have interest in lance briggs

Torbor to Miami

I wonder what Mr. Reese has in store??

Is this Briggs stuff legit sounds like he is trying to drive his price up.

Palladino said we wont pursue Hall unless he lowers his contract demands

Looks like we're gonna go small a lower tier again this year. Eugen Wilson from the Pats, Erik Coleman from the Jets and Sammy Knight from the Phins are the safeties coming in. Devard Darling is apparently the wideout.

I wonder if the Hall deal is back on.

At 8:32 PM, Blogger aimrocky said...

Phil, what are you hearing on the Hall deal? Is it because the Samual contract was more reasonable then first anticipated?

At 8:32 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

i think it is i dont think it ever was off i think it was on hold but i think its back on

At 8:34 PM, Blogger aimrocky said...

Honestly, if the Giants didn't do a thing from now until the draft, I would still be comfortable with this team.

Dan, so do I.

And I think it for 2 reasons: 1 the Samuel deal is not too terrible. And 2: Hall has been off the grid since he was at the combine. You'd think there'd be some offers flying around today as Vilma and others rumored to be headed somewhere were.

The Giants way is to be quiet and not raise expectations. That's why I think this pops soon.
